Welcome April! Here we "hop" again! And I'm not "fooling"!!!
So, OLW - I find myself thinking of "serendipity" a lot.....and sometimes, serendipity is finding me.
March was all about action and the ONE action I've been putting off was joining a new gym. Last year at this time, I was wearing this, in my third month with it, with three more to go,
I lugged that hip to ankle brace around for so long - it still haunts me . When I think back, I can't for the life of me figure out how I slept with that thing on. So, for those reasons and a few more, I kept putting off going back to the gym. The thought of tearing up my knee again was just too frightening. Well, thank you for the push to take action Ali, I did it. On March 12th, I finally signed up at a gym. I've been going only three times a week, but I'm starting to have more confidence in my leg. I'm not so sure its serendipitous, but it was an important action for me to take. Perhaps the serendipty will kick in when I end up in a size 2 when I was hoping to get to a size 4!!
Anyway, I haven't finished my journaling yet, but here's the page.
I popped some crystal brads through the tabs the twine wraps around
and, when you flip it out, there is a butterfly on the other side as well.
I had my birthday this month, so I used a large page protecter for those special birthday cards I got. Yeah........that little girl's envelope is on the top. That 12 year old penmanship makes me giggle. We've got a sleepover at auntie's house next Friday - if you have any ideas on something fun to do, please let me know - auntie is running out of them!!!
On the back side of this page, I popped some extra circles on top of the page protector for some added dimension. And oh!! How I adored all that "big" stuff by Bazzill! I was psyched when I found this big paper clip!!
And, to catch up on february (I loved doing the page of small photos), I ended up with these, Its a cool effect, isn't it?
On a final note, I challenged myself one day last month to create a page with the mess on my desk, the one there in the photo, with that fat Martha Stewart ribbon. I should be posting it next week. Here is the photo again,
So, there you go!! The hop goes live at 8:00 AM PST. From here, I send you to Joy's blog for more March action.
In the event you get lost along the way, here is the entire list.
Thanks for hopping in!

that leg brace looks scary! glad you're without it!
Good on you for getting to the Gym! love your polka dots and butterfly! xoxo
Sounds like OLW has been good for you!
I can understand how scary that is, but I'm glad you've been able to start exercising again :)
I love your pictures...glad you've made the leap to exercise again.. take it slow gradual change is still change! (and 3 times a week is awesome! I barely manage 2 usually) I haven't been a size 4 since I was 12 (hoping to be a 10 again soon) so good luck!
Congrats on getting back to the gym! Great job on your pages for OLW. I really like how the butterfly goes off the page.
Your work looks great - love the butterfly! So glad your knee is healed and that you're making forward progress! Enjoy the journey... :)
donna, your pages are beautiful...love the polka dots and butterfly. they seem to fit the word serendipity and a light spirit.
would love to see the layout of the messy desk. always a great story behind those work tables.

I love your pages. Makes me want to get mine done.
how fun!
congrats to you on getting back to the gym! Sometimes that nudge is all we need to get moving again
Lovely post and seems we were on similar paths. I am also a big fan of the butterflies! (Oh and I am a March birthday too!)
Congrats on going to the gym! I need to catch up on my OLW class...
Congrats on getting back to the gym! I haven't...and I don't have the justification of a past brace, either. :) Love your page, too.
good for you getting back to it!!! and yay for keeping up w/ OLW. i need to get back to it - seeing this is inspiring.
Great to hear about your "action" of signing up at a gym! Keep up the good work, hope next month finds you stronger!
I should rejoin the gym too....now you've challenged me. I am a swimmer, or was. Now I shudder at what I would look like in a swim suit. I guess if you can do it I can too. Thanks for the push and I love you pages!
Well done for getting to the gym! I cringe every time they send me an email because it's been so long since I've been. Love your pages.
WTG getting back to the gym. Love how you've documented taking action. Your 3x3 photo page looks so cool.
Good luck getting back in the gym. Love your post!
Wahoo, good for you! Starting gym is a big step for you.
I love your page! It looks great.
kudos for being so brave - I've been in similar situations with the fear of going back to the gym!
Hello SERENDIPITY Sister! Congratulations to you for getting back to the gym. That is a big accomplishment for regular people, but to have the fear of that brace looming over your head - even more scary. Your pages look lovely. I love the bling!
what a cool idea to put the brads through the tabs - I might have to try that!
Great job with your OLW! I am so proud of you for going back to the gym! I haven't seen the inside of one on purpose in years! Great job with the layout too! Way to bling out the fastener!
