So, I spent most of the day today watching films of retinal detachment surgery.......I love my work, but sometimes.........its just weird.........
Anyway, another Magpie layout, "Play", with some random hand stitching, brads through buttons and there is that cool transparency again - loved it, the yellow bikes,
Man, a week goes by fast! I hope all enjoyed a fun-filled holiday! We were on vacation all of last week and had a great time.
I spent most of my days lazing by the pool.
And the lounge chairs in the water were just awesome.
There were some fun non-pool activities.......
And then it was back to the office today, where I had to navigate around way too many files in my office before I could make it to my desk.........thats the hard thing about vacation. But then again, I'm bound to catch up eventually.
I've not had any creative time for a couple of weeks now, but until I get back to that, I've many Magpie layouts from the July kit to share. I find the summer weather always cuts into my creative time...its hard for me to keep inside when the sun is shining......
Make sure to check out what Tara has put together for a kit this month. As usual, its awesome!!!!
I'll be posting a fun card and another layout on Wednesday.
Barbeques, beachballs, bathing suits and sunshine. Flip flops, sunglasses, lemonade and ice cream. Fireworks, vacation, cheeseburgers and swimming. Welcome July. So thrilled it has arrived. Its my absolute favorite month, and I sometimes dream I could live my life out on the beach for its entire 31 days.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to breakfast with a friend this morning and then floating in mom and dad's pool for the rest of the day, and the big guy and I have an adventure planned that I'm really excited about .......
I do hope you had a chance to check out and buy one of the new Magpie kits at reveal yesterday. Its a fab one, and I had a blast creating with it. I always love the little bits and pieces in the kits, and this one was no exception.
So, speaking of July and Magpie, and dreaming of living my life on the beach,
