So, I've been up since 4:00 AM watching the royal couple wed - amazing.  I think in my next life I want to be a princess!!

I'm certain I'm going to have to nap today, but after that, I'm hoping to find some scrap time - its tough with the big guy home...........

Just Magpie Kit Sneak Peeks

Hello all!  Hope everyone had a fun holiday.  We had a great time.  So, check out these cool, clear plates I used on the Easter table,

with a white tablecloth,

       and a little color.

Loved the look of it. 

Anyway, it was a sunny, 77 degrees yesterday.  The big guy (he's on vacation this week) got the lounge chairs out of the shed and I grabbed a book and sat outside for a few hours reading.  It was heaven.   

We discovered this along the way -  a loner, all by itself, with nothing but grass all around it. KInd of strange, I thought,

Just Happy Easter

We're hosting the fam here tomorrow, so I'm off to the stores to pick up something for dinner and something to wear.  I suppose I should have wrapped it up yesterday, but I got sidetracked with a few bright colored twines............

Hello all and hope you are enjoying this sunny Thursday. I've had a crazy busy week at work - one of my new cases that I spent most of  my time on was a double fatality - sad stuff  at work sometimes   - police reports, autopsy photos - but I've gotten used to it.  Kind of.  When it really gets to me, like this week,  I tend to go for the cheery in my off hours.

Retail therapy works - I think I've mentioned my mascara addiction before.  Here, Lancome Hypnose Drama in black.  LOVE

Summer and wedge sandals.......a match made in heaven!  The Jessica Gabbie Wedge Sandal has found its way to my closet!
