Just the Fifties

I  adore all things of the 50's, and bring it into the house whenever and wherever I can.

And I love the television shows.......... The Honeymooners, I Love Lucy, Leave It To Beaver.....................



It looks like the 50's were fun times, simple, and genuine.  I love what the generation represents..

So, moivng on,

I have a Cricut, the smaller, older one. Its actually a replacement one (lets just say its a UPS story............and I ended up with a new one) for the first one I had and it ihas been sitting brand new, unopened in its box for quite some time now. I had been thinking about trying to sell it and maybe get a Silhoutte but, yesterday, I saw this, and all ideas of selling it went out the window.

I just HAD to have it.

LOVE the car (we have a phone like it, only blue), the coke bottle, the Route 66 sign!!   The font looks pretty cool too.   It all just looks so fun!!

And I have a few ideas about what I'd like to do with some of these images, and can't wait to play with this on my day off Tuesday.  Stay tuned!!

Just Friday

Just Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Just Happy Birthday

to me, last Friday, and we celebrated all weekend.  It was awesome.

I went with a peanut butter and chocolate ice cream cake

We ordered lots of chinese food

and  hit Legal Seafood for chowder, did a little italian and went out to breakfast.

I got a few presents



one of them, a lamp. LOVE IT!!!!!



There was a little birthday scrapping

And some really pretty cards

It was a fun three days.

Just Hello

on Thursday.  Man, was it crazy busy at work this week.  I had a couple of research assignments that kept me in the office between 9:00 and 6:00 every day.  And in all my years of paralegaling, both were situations that I'd NEVER had to research before.  It was fun, but I'm glad both assignments are done.

I only found a little bit of time for creating.  If you had told me last year that when my Studio Calico kit arrived I wouldn't open it for a few days, I would have thought you were nuts - not so any more.  Now I feel like there just isn't enough time in a day.........

Anyway, here's a peek.

I'm loving Ranger's Glossy Accents again.  There's a few dollops on the yellow flower.

I finally managed to get some "green" going for St. Patty's Day too.

And plowed through this on my lunch hours.......
