Just Six Months Later

hmm........six months, 180 days and about 24 Sundays...its been a long time since I've last blogged. Lots and lots of goings on in that time, but now that the dust has settled, I'm back, and finally, feeling inspired again!

So anyway, hello, just six months later, with some snapshots, that capture  some of it.......

And yes, I've got my scrap back on!

Just Inspiration

Isn't it fun that inspiration is everywhere?

The other day I went out to lunch with a friend and then we were off to do a little furniture shopping - she's looking for a new living room set.  When we walked into the store, I was amazed by all of the colors and the inspo started striking like major bolts of lightening.

Just Cinco De Mayo

Ok, so yesterday, cinco de mayo, I decided I  not only wanted to eat mexican food, but also wanted to do something with the cinco part.   I went with five things I've been wanting to do, but didn't take the time to.  And here they are:  

1.  Man, the car looks nice when its washed..........

2.  Get to another baseball game......

3.  Switch over to the summer bedding.....

4.  Call my favorite "auntie" in Flordia, who celebrated her 86th birthday recently.  Ends up, I'll be visiting her in person in a few weeks.

5.  Get to back to the gym.  Its been tough with this knee brace, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel - this thing is hopefully, off of my leg on the 18th.  I couldn't do any leg weights and am limited to the eliptical bike, but just doing something felt great.

Just the Weekend

So I hope everyone enjoyed their National Scrapbook Day!  Although we enjoyed the day, none of it, not one smidgen, included any scrap time. Bummer for me, but, the little guy enjoyed his first communion day so it was all good.

There was playoff hockey Saturday afternoon, too.  Go Bruins (they won last night, too)!

Sunday, we did a little house shopping - still nothing there -and  then spent some time with my parents at a great local restaurant.  I way, way overindulged - the lobster bisque was awesome, the baked stuffed shrimp amazing. 

The place is really cool - an 1850's home converted into an inn and a restaurant.  If you're local, check out Colonel Blackinton Inn.  You'll love it.

I had my nose in this here and there over the weekend, too.

And there went the weekend!

I did find a little time to get to creating yesterday.  Time for new RAH DT projects!  I'm having a blast with this and so LOVING the yellow in this collection.

I've yet to scan those other layouts I mentioned in my last post.  I'm hoping to get to that  over the next couple of days. 

And now, I'm off to catch Mr. DeWyze on American Idol!

Just Miscellaneous

Wow, the last seven days have absolutely flown by me!  Again!  Sometimes I just don't know where the time goes. 

I do know I lost a couple of days with my most precious, favorite girl who had an unfortunate accident at gymnastics........

Ouch!!  And she had qualified for the state competition too..........what a bummer. 

The rest, I guess - just miscellaneous stuff to get done.

Hmmm.........speaking of getting done - the condo with the red door isn't going to happen.  Suffice it to say the listing agent was the realtor from the dark side,  so our quest continues.

Oh well......... at least for today I was psyched today to finally spend time in my scraproom with the Studio Calico Joyland kit and add ons  from last month.  Its been a while since I've done several layouts  in one day, and it felt so, so good! 

Oh!  I loved  the bright colors in Pink Paislee's  Queen Bee collection and what wicked fun pleated twill - I'm thinking I want more.  Good thing I'm off to RAH tomorrow!

And these two are getting cuter by the day!  I don't know how they do it!  Fifty-six years married last Monday - I'm so blessed to have them.  Oh yeah.........thats where I was last Monday!
