Just Happy Thanksgiving

Hello there...................been gone a while, but happy to report hubby is doing fabulous and, after over six months', our lives are slowly returning back to normal.........thank you Dr. Carlos David at Lahey Clinic!!!

Just Gossamer Blue

Just Happy WCD!!!!

I know......bad, bad blogger these last months......summer always does that to me.........Here we are in October though, so I'm finding myself inside and creating more as I am no longer distracted by the sun.

Anyway, Happy World Cardmaking Day!!!  We've been celebrating it all week long on the Creative  Imaginations blog.......you must go check out the inspo over there.    Amazing.

Anyway, a couple of weeks ago, I finally sat down and had some fun with Jen Jockisch's Pop Off the Page class that had been offered at Studio Calico.  Jen knocked it out of the park with this one.........I find myself reading, re-reading and reading again.......and creating, too.  I was completely motivated by this class, and I needed it.

Using a stencil, I first applied a layer of gesso on the layout base before I started layering the elements  on the layout.

So fun.

Now, armed with paper, glue and trimmer, I am off to go celebrate World Cardmaking Day.  Hope you enjoy yours!!!!

Just Gallivant

Hey all!!!!  Hopping on to share a layout I created for CHA using Creative Imaginations new Gallivant collection.  Its a beauty..........perfect muted blues, creams and browns with images of  suitcases, compasses and things.  And, there is a really cool alphabet, too.

I loved all of the papers and stickers, so punched a bunch of circles so I could use several different designs and then stitched down the center of the circles and clustered those and lots of stickers on the right side of the layout.

More sneaks of all of the CHA releases on the CI blog and I'll share another fun Gallivant one tomorrow.
